Registration is now open for the 11th Annual TATER TROT. Though traditionally held on the first Saturday in November, we have moved it to the 2nd Saturday in October in the hopes of having better weather. This year that falls on October 9th.
The event was established 11 years ago to help the Community Dinner Table, “CDT” fund its annual Christmas box distribution for those in our community who needed help during the holiday season. The CDT has helped nearly 4,500 families with a nice food box for Christmas over the last eleven years. The need is still here, and your help is needed now more than ever before.
After last year’s crazy Covid-19 pandemic the event will again be live and in person – at Jenson’s Grove Shelter in Blackfoot.
We will have 5 and 10 K events for both runners and walkers. There is also a kids ½ mile fun run.
Here are the start times for the 11th annual Tater Trot October 9th:
- Registration table/ Bib pick up opens at 8:00 am
- 10K walk 9 a.m.
- 5K walk at 9:30 am
- 10K run at 9:45 am
- 5K run at 10:00 am
- Children’s half-mile run at 10:45 am
Please be checked in and ready to go at least 20 minutes prior to your event.
If you want your time to count, bibs must be visible on the outside of the front of your chest so we can see it. Our timing is visual so it must be seen in order time you accurately.
After the run we will have a full baked potato bar and awards/raffle prizes.
